Ceiba has that "Guatemala sweetness" in spades. It's hard to put a finger on exactly what that sweetness is, but it is so uniquely Guatemalan that we now just refer to it as "that Guat' sweetness." If you couldn't already tell, we dig it! Relatively simple, not too fruity, but just enough complexity to make you remember that there's something special going on, this is a crowd-pleaser. Give it a try today!

This coffee is named after the Ceibathe national tree of Guatemala, which in Mesoamerican and Mayan culture symbolizes the interconnected universe with the sky above and the earth below.  Huehuetenango a well loved coffee growing region borders Mexico in Guatemala's western highlands.  Literally in the mountains, “La Torre" is the highest peak of Los Cuchumatanes range at 3,800 meters.

This particular Ceiba lot of coffee is grown by a large community of farmers from the Huehuetenango Department.  Unitrade Coffee one of the main sourcing partners for these crops works directly with the farmers in the region helping to improve: infrastructure, sustainable sourcing, operations and production methods.

Ceiba is sourced from the following smallholder farms:
