Our classic dark roast blend.
This is coffee that tastes like "coffee." Bold, punchy, and roast-forward flavors. Big-time bittersweet chocolate, cacao nibs, and spices in the cup. This makes for a good espresso, particularly with relatively inexpensive grinders and/or espresso machines. Got a Moka pot? This is a good choice for that too. French Press? Yep, that too. Automatic drip brewer? You know it. Especially if you like milk (or alt) in your coffee. We recommend brewing this coffee with slightly cooler water (perhaps 190 degrees F), a coarser grind, and a stronger brew ratio (more like 15:1 or 16:1 for drip, or 1:1.5 to 1:2 for espresso) than we recommend for almost all of our other coffees.

Roasting and Shipping Schedule:
Coffee is roasted on Wednesdays. If you order anytime up until 3pm Tuesday, we will roast and ship the next day. Orders received after 3pm Tuesday may not get roasted until the following week.
